TESTIMONIALS

“I loved having class with Mr. Holtz, he really made sure that all the material was covered thoroughly and taught me not only how to do certain things but also why they're useful. Overall, it was a great experience, he is a wonderful teacher, and I highly recommend him for anyone looking to learn more about acting.

“I've had the pleasure of working with MR. HOLTZ on several projects. He has taught me very well and helped me stretch my acting. He used his many years of experience and knowledge to help draw out the best of me for the character I was playing. I've used his techniques in productions that he was a part of and some that he wasn't apart of because his techniques stay with you. He truly is an outstanding actor and coach and will be an asset to any production he is a part of.”

Mr. Holtz is one of the best teachers I could ask for, not only in coaching acting but also is one of the best people I've ever met in my entire life. He teaches others in a very easy going yet beneficial way. Unfortunately, it's extremely underrated because of the type of students he has to teach. He gives all his students with love and care and welcomes them with a lovely vibe and a good laugh, as long as they're willing to cooperate. He's a very loveable and funny guy, I remember creating a play with him during my 2 years in drama club with him, he's the leader. It took a while creating the play from scratch, a lot of remembered seeming not interesting and never returning to the club leading not being able to perform it during our first year. I can't lie I have given up at the beginning of the second year so I didn't bother joining for the 2nd year but a few months later he encouraged me to check it out which I did and I gained the motivation with the new drama crew to continue the play. With everyone writing their own separate part, Mr. Holtz helping everyone out with writing the script and acting out the part, we were able to overcome the bumps in the road and perform it live for our 2nd block class. It was an amazing experience I’ll truly never forget. It was the best high school experience of my entire life. And I have Mr. Holtz diligence determination and his big heart to thank for that.

Gregory Holtz preaches and breathes honesty. When acting you feel the need to do justice to the script. A lot of the time this leads to an actor portraying a character and "showing" the camera how he/she feels. Greg has taught me that real character development only begins when you bring your own raw truth to acting for the stage or camera. It's a very simple and well-known theory, but it's hard to conceptualize until you actually work through it on stage and see yourself on the screen. Greg breaks down scenes and monologues with you in such a way that you see the script in a new light. He truly cares for his students. He knows how to talk to actors in a way that is understandable and relatable, and organically helps get them to achieve at a highly consistent level of acting. A must take coaching class for sure!

Mr. Holtz was the man who made me the guy who passed in a college audition a couple days ago, he taught me a lot of ways to make my presentation better and helped me in everything I needed. His class is also a thing that I appreciate so much, he gets everyone's attention in class and I think that everybody loves him and his exercises. My favorite class obviously is his class because there we don't just learn acting and drama, he shows us how would be if we was actors, writers or directors, inspires ourselves and always makes us finish his class wanting a little more time to be there. I love to act, my dream job, my dream about every hypothesis is to be an actor. Be an actor, have a good career in acting and be recognized for my job, and I know that he is the one who taught me, a bunch of things that I know came from him, and I know that he still have things to teach me, and I'm going to learn with one of the best and unforgettable teacher I have ever had, Sir Holtz.

Gregory Holtz is a great Director and coach. He has a wonderful way of helping one to understand what techniques to employ to reach any particular acting goals. He is able to simplify the broader concepts of acting and, uses physicality, humor, and example to achieve a necessary level of understanding. He is fun, visionary and honest. It is always a blast working with him.

“Throughout my four years of high school I´ve encountered many teachers, sat in many desks and took various tests. Four years is not enough time to meet everyone and feel everything but the most vivid moment I had was the first day I sat in drama class. The educational system teaches individuals to be robots, putting everyone in uniformed rows and asking them to talk a certain way in competition for a letter grade. Asking to step out the box but trapping us inside of it.  But, drama class allows you to be whoever you are.  It welcomes you the way you are. I´ve learned to be more open minded to others point of view and increase my confidence, also improve the projection of my voice. Out of this huge building this room is a merriment environment.”
